How to Use It
All you need is a portable MP3 player, like an iPod. Use the tempo tool on the site to find your comfort zone and download the tracks that fit. Then head to the range armed with your T.i.M. tracks.
Put on your headphones and start the music. Listen to the rhythms, called Click Patterns, and take a couple of practice swings to get accustomed to the patterns and the music.
Step over the ball, push play and listen for the patterns, which are coordinated so that you have plenty of time to leisurely set up for each shot in between them (and to take a quick moment to admire the shot you just hit). Set your MP3 player to “repeat” and work through your golf bag, hitting everything from wedge to driver.
As you get more comfortable with your tempo, start alternating between hitting balls with the music and without. Hit a series of eight balls with the music, then hit another eight balls without it. This system will help with muscle memory and will establish solid tempo you can take with you to the course.
